This staged reading of The Wolves by Sarah DeLapp kept us on our toes, and on top of each other’s words! The fast paced play is an incredible representation of young women in the 21st century. I had the privilege to play #13, a spunky 16 year old who feels not to far off from myself at 16.
To embody a modern young women, surrounded and led by other passionate and talented women – a privilege is an understatement! The direction of Brooke Smith allowed all of us to really play within the text and let it truly fly as she told us to go faster and faster and faster. Each performance had me forgetting that the play would ever end, and each ending made me want to come back and tell the story again tomorrow.
