My first role of 2025 was playing Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet at the Great Nordic Shakespeare Festival! It was so wonderful to be able to return to Shakespeare after a while, and it reminded me how much I love classical work. I love taking the time to analyze and pick apart each phrase and get the words in my body bit by bit.
This process taught me so much about the value of artistic friendships and how valuable safe and collaborate work environments are. Playing Tybalt forced me so unlock the power and confidence that I hold as a woman in order to give her the fire that she deserves.
